Mr. Tibbits adds strong technical experience and leadership to the executive team at RSA. Mr. Tibbits has 20 years’ experience with a broad background in design, construction, and administration.

After graduating from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, he worked as a design engineer with Kruse, Cate and Nelson, P.C. (KCN) in Spencer, Iowa, where he provided both engineering and construction management for a variety of public improvement projects. Later, he worked for Moran Engineering in Berkeley, California. He joined RSA as a project engineer in 1997, became a registered civil engineer in 1999, a project manager in 2001, and in 2005 was named a principal in the company.  Mr. Tibbits then became a registered land surveyor in 2007.

Since 2007, Mr. Tibbits has been the Principal in charge of surveying.  Much of his work has involved coordinating with American Canyon, Caltrans, Napa County, the City of Napa, PG&E, California Department of Fish & Wildlife, Army Corps of Engineers, Regional Water Quality Control Board, and Napa Sanitation District.
