As a planner and engineer, Hugh Linn has brought a wide variety of projects to successful completion. His broad experience allows him to respond to each client's requirements, accurately assess the needs of a project, and design the best solution on time and within budget. Hugh's innovative thinking positions the firm to be an industry leader in meeting the economic and environmental challenges ahead.

Hugh Linn is the business manager and leader of the firm's executive team. He has both a public and private engineering background. While completing his civil engineering degree at California State University, Chico, he worked for the University Foundation conducting planning studies and capacity analyses for public agencies and private development projects throughout Northern California.

After graduation, Mr. Linn served eight years with the Napa County Public Works Department, first conducting plan reviews, processing development applications, and checking maps in the Engineering Service division, and later preparing engineering design plans, managing capital improvement projects and supervising staff in the Engineering Design division.

Hugh's subsequent experience includes managing projects for Brian Kangas Foulk Engineering in Walnut Creek, California, where he completed land planning, commercial and retail development, due diligence investigations, utility design, and roadway, intersection, and signal design. Clients included both private companies, such as Marriott International, Homestead Hotels, and Genentech, as well as public agencies, such as the cities of millbrae and Walnut Creek.

When Hugh is not working or volunteering, he enjoys golfing, fishing, friends and family.
