RSA+ assisted the Water Company with the design and inspection of a new 500,000 gallon water tank. For years, the existing underground concrete water tank leaked and compromised the quantity and quality of water for the water companies customers. RSA+ designed a new water tank and piping system that replaced the old tank and reduced contaminants associated with organics and chlorine. The initial master plan was install two 500,000 gallon tanks, but during the construction process so many leaks were found in the existing tank and piping that the daily water loss was reduced to a level where the second tank could be eliminated. “One of the most rewarding aspects of our job is when we can apply our expertise to help improve the quality of life for our Napa County neighbors.”
